frequent crashes

For several weeks now, I have been experiencing many crashes with eM client (windows 10.1.4588 (f11e2ab)) . The crashing happens very randomly, sometimes it is when forwarding a mail; already when entering the mail address. the other time when I compose a mail. But it also happens regularly when I am not using the programme.
Meanwhile, I have tried the following:

• subdividing the lokal files into data files
• not loading these data files
• rebuilding the database by renaming the database to em Client old
• and today a new installation

i have also tried the solutions offered elsewhere on this forum, but unfortunately they did not help either.

hopefully someone knows something to put me out of this misery

Same issue…multiple crashes when trying to create new message or reply to existing message. MacOS.

The crashes are now occurring every hour and sometimes more frequently. I am going to follow the threads but since it has become so problematic I am going to have to stop using em Client. This makes me incredibly sad since I thought I finally had a client that worked for both gmail (personal mail) and work

I was able to solve the problem by storing the database in a different location.
My laptop has two disks, and it turned out that the one the database was originally on had errors.
Once I moved the database to the other disk, the issue was resolved.
