Freezes while writing a new email or responding to other emails



Since the last 2 updates of eM Client I have been experiencing freezes that can only be remedied by restarting the computer. eM Client will accept no commands.

The freezes occur when I am writing a new email or responding to another. eM Client is my default email application.

I have not experienced this issue with any other versions of eM Client and have been using the application for many years.


Just a few ideas:

Assumptions: Windows 10
Is eM Client the only application that is affected?
Have you uninstalled eMC (do not delete database) and reinstalled using the latest version from here?
Have you tried temporarily stopping your VPN or A/V app?
