Free version emClient - License violatioon all of a sudden

I have been using emClient for years. It’s great. I am only using the Free license version for personal. Not using commercially at all. Todayuu out of the blue, it wants me to activate my license again. I enter the key which I know is valid, yet now comes up that it has violated the licensing rules. It was working fine yesterday. What is wrong? Thanks
