Yes if you are a personal non business / commercial user and don’t purchase the program, then you will normally need to "have a separate free license for each computer installation, and each device connected with its own personal email address.
Alternatively if you only have 1-2 personal email address’s but have 3 computers, then you just
“deactivate one of your free licenses” via “Menu / Help / License” on whatever computer you are not using, and then reactivate that on whatever other computer you want to use.
The free license past the initial 30 day trial also limits you to 2 accounts and limited features.
Or
If you are a personal non business user, you can now purchase the “Personal version” either as a yearly subscription or as a one time payment which gives you the full features and “allows you to install eM Client on up to 3 devices with the one license” which is good value.
