For those who started using GUIs after the year 1980, the “elevator” (common name) or Thumb (original technical name) is the slider (typically vertical is on the right) that moves one thru a list. In the desktop version of the client, it is shown as a medium gray rectangle.
However, while it may pick up its color from the registry, the width is about 50% narrower than the value used in other aps.
Request (part one): Either make the thumb wider or pick up the width from the registry (and maybe color) or have it as a configurable items within the app.
Request (part two): Navigating within the app; Part of the published GUI standards from Microsoft back in the early 1980s had to do with the keyboard and mouse; Worst case is needing to switch between the 2 to accomplish a task. (for example needing to use the mouse to get to a data input field, then the keyboard to fill in that field).
I cannot find the documented shortcut keystrokes for common windows actions (and the app does not appear to respond to the default microsoft ones). The most glaring ones are “go to the start of the list” and “go to the end of the list”. So, please either share those common navigation keyboard shortcuts, or add them as a new feature request.
Thanks !!!
