I have just imported a PST file to my Em Client and copied an email folder from the new Local Folders (generated by the pst import) to the Gmail account folder structure. When syncing with my gmail account I get an error message to confirm that a folder cannot be created on the server, "Folder Contains excess white space (Failure)). This has occured in just two primary email folders but one has several subfolders with the same issue. is this a gmail issue ?
Further internet search tells me this can be fixed by removing any double spaces in the folder name … I hope this helps others
