After waiting for years for the ability to set colours on folders, I was delighted to see the feature available; but when I tried it I saw no obvious effect. Then I realised it was only colouring the outline of the folder, which doesn’t make them stand out at all!
Please can we have solid colouring? Or is there away to switch from outline to solid? So far I haven’t found it.
Does anyone have a solution for this: The ONLY folder I can color is All Mail. All other folders do not have the option to color them with right click. Version 10.1.4588 (f11e2ab) running on latest Win 11
Thanks!

If its a Gmail account, to change the label colour “for other labels”, you go to “Menu / Tags” (Pc) or “Tools / Tags” (Mac). Then “click the dropdown” on the right of “Local Folders” and select your Gmail account.
In my eM Client there is no “Local Folders” in this window. Version 10.1.4588 on Win11
Maybe then you don’t have Local Folders enabled in your eM Client Settings. Go to “Menu / Settings / General / Folders” and make sure “Local Folders is checked”.& Save Settings.,
Then click “Menu / Tags” and you should see Local Folders in the Dropdown menu as in the below Version 10.1.4588 Windows example with a Gmail account.
If you still don’t see Local Folders, “and you installed eM Client from the eM Client website”, then uninstall eM Client and “don’t delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard". Then download and reinstall from the release history page.
