Filters are broken

The transition to eMClient for Windows 11 (64-bit) from eMClient 10 has been painful. The biggest pain point is in the filters. Every day, email vanishes from key folders and ends up in other folders. The archive fills up with emails that shouldn’t be there. I am now working to fix the filters. Overall, I am stuck with a complete rebuild and the risk of missing key emails.

I appreciate the work on the emClient upgrade. I want to express my frustration and disappointment with the result: a destroyed email workspace.

Fo you use M365 and migrated from EWS to MS Graph protocol? This might be the root cause for your issues as MS Graph is basically a completely new account.

I have found that several filters aren’t working. Files in Outlook and on the Exchange server are missing in eMClient 11. In short, the transfer failed. When I try to fix the problem, eMClient reports that the rule cannot be used because the folder exists. The folder doesn’t appear in eMClient, but it does on the Exchange server website. The filtering program then sticks messages into any folder. Overall, the filtering services in eMClient are unstable and unreliable. I hope the next update addresses this. For now, I have to use Outlook to ensure all messages are in the right place.
