File"/" couldn't be added as attachment due to the following error: Access to path 'C:\' is denied

For email to be sent without attachment this error ocurrs.

Hi Lorenzo, this seems to be a system permission issue, as you’re not allowed to write into this directory.
What version of eM Client are you currently using and for how long have you been using it? Did the issue occur after a recent update?

Hi Paul,

EM Client version is 6.0.21040.0 .

The strange thing is that was working well for the first 2 days.

I’m running Windows 8.1, and My windows user has administrator level.

In fact, the EM database files is located in disk D:, so I don’t understand what is being written in disk C:.

Hi Lorenzo, are you possibly using a signature with an image picture included? Or a template?

Signature (without images) and templates were removed and now it’s working fine.

Is this a bug in current version?

Hi Lorenzo, this is not a known issue of the application, it seems like one of your signatures/templates contained a linked image, which was deleted. Make sure all your external content you’re using in signatures is located in it’s folder in order to avoid these kind of issues.
