A scan to email directly feature would be great. I previously used outlook and had purchased a third party app that allowed you to scan a document directly from within your email. Once scanned, you name the scanned file whatever you wanted in a popup window. Once you hit ok, it attached it right to the email you are sending. No need to save the document either which on many occasions, you don’t need to, just need to send to someone and besides, you would have it in your sent folder.
I think this is a function of the scanner software/hardware. Many scanners have a button for that, and will open a new message with the scanned image attached when used.
