Could you please extend the capabilities of the QuickText feature to include the addition of email addresses to the TO and CC fields? I mean two fields for each QuickText item where the user can enter email addresses. If the user then edits the email by selecting a QuickText with an email address specified for the CC field, this email address would be added to the email being written.
Let me ask one question, why not use templates at that point ?
Sorry, you’re right — I’ve just found out that there are templates. How can I use one when replying to an email? I don’t want to use just one template for every reply, I want to decide wether to use a template on-the-fly.
How can I select different template when I reply for a message?
In settings - mail - templates you can configure one template for replies, but using a version 10 feature QuickActions, you can create a reply action for each of your templates.
You can also bind a shortcut to each of these making your flow faster.

It is unfortunately not possible, you can only start them from main window.
Ohhh, I see :(. Then shall I make a feature request for this functionality?
You can add the idea to our feature request web and in the meantime try to fiddle with the quickactions.
You can create a lot of them with different quicktexts and recipients.
