When trying to save any attachment from EMclient, if i rename the file it removes the extension making the file invalid ???
I would update to the latest V8 Beta 8.0.2016.0 via the link below and see if you still have the same issue. https://www.emclient.com/release-history?

Note:- Before you uninstall your current V8 Beta, click “Menu / Backup” incase you have to restore.
