Exchange, PW failed, log says: UnauthorizedServer

Hi,

I’ve just found eM and consider buying it, however… I had eM import my Settings from Outlook and everything was fine and I was very pleased how it handled my extensive Mail account. However, after the PC went to standby, it continues to ask for the password. I’ve enabled logging and that’s what I’ve got:

What I realised is that the t:RequestServerVersion doesn’t reflect my exchanges erver which is  running Exchange 2010_SP3.
What irritates me, is that it worked perfectly fine in the beginning and suddenly stopped working.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
can you maybe try setting up the account from scratch in eM client, there might be an issue with the import from Outlook.
Also the RequestServerVersion, does not correspond to your server version simply because it only states the lowest supported server version and the server should return what version it uses (which it doesn’t).

Thank you for understanding,
Paul.

Thank you for the quick reply. I setup the account again, and for now it works, I’ll keep exchange logging on for a while and let you know if the problem occurs again.

Glad to hear that, let me know if any errors occur, or if you come across any other issues or if you have any questions about the app.

Thank you,
Paul.

OK… back to the Problem. All was fine until I went to the calendar view. I have a second calendar below the main calendar, I activated it and just seconds later it started asking me for the passwort with no avail.

The server replies with the same error. Deactivating the Calendar doesn’t help now. Let me know how I can help - i would love to use emclient…

Can you please go to Tools > Settings > Advanced and turn on Exchange Web Services logging for the problematic account? save the settings and restart the application.

When the issue occurs, go back to the advanced settings window and click on “Send Logs”, please send the logs to [email protected] and please include a reference link to this forum topic.

Thank you,
Paul.
