See the following thread on OVH server login problems that eg: needed “plain text login strings” in the account diagnostic tab in eM Client V10 due to the server older authentication methods.
So this might also be why you are also getting invalid username and password and fix that.
OVH servers seem to be falsely reporting support for GSSAPI login. In version 9 and earlier, eM Client chose this login only for some specific servers, but in version 10 eM Client supports it for all servers that report they have it. Unfortunately that means that as the server doesn’t really support GSSAPI the authentication fails and you can’t login to the server to get your email.

We have switch for Outlook for few weeks. And it worked immediately.
But as my colleague prefer eM Client, I kept looking for a solution.
The following screenshots shows our settings that are working well with the last version 10.

As you can see I use LOGIN instead of PLAIN. And as it works correctly, I did not go back to PLAIN in order to test if it is also OK.
