Exchange emails won't categorize and are all duplicated

Hello.

I have looked through the forum on this issue, and none of the advice seems to resolve my problem, which may or may not be the same one other people are having.

I am using eM client for one Exchange account and two Google Workspace accounts. While the Google accounts seem to be working fine, the Exchange account has two big issues.

  1. Every Exchange email appears twice. They are not truly duplicated; the de-duplication tool finds no actual duplicated emails. But the email appear twice. The second email has a blue dot on the upper right corner, under the date and next to the reply icon. And sometimes the second email has a “Download this message” notification, and when I click on that I get “The message will be downloaded the next time you go online” notification, even though I am online. And that notification never goes away after I’ve restarted. I have removed and re-added the account a few times, and this doesn’t help.

  2. After removing and re-adding the account, all of my categorization rules for the Exchange account were deleted. When I created new categorization rules, nothing happened. New emails will not categorize unless I go to a folder Properties, go to the Repair tab, and then click the button for Categorize messages. I have deleted rules and re-added them multiple times, and nothing works.

Both of these things are driving me a bit batty. Help would be greatly appreciated!
