EWS authorization request

I’ve been using EM Client with EWS since 2022, and I don’t remember having to authorize it like this, or maybe I forgot abou it, but suddenly, it is asking for additional approval which I believe I haven’t seen before.

Is this something that’s been changed on my company account, Microsoft, or EM Client side?

That usually means the company / business server IT mail server staff might be now eg: restricting the type of email client accessing the mailbox like sometimes Universities / Colleges or other Organisations do.

So i would contact your IT admin or mail server support staff and “tell them you are using eM Client” and you are getting asked to enter justification to access it.

If they say they are not restricting access, then ask your mail server support “if they have changed the type of account configuration for accessing your account” like maybe from eg: Exchange to Office 365 and so maybe then needs resetting up in eM Client accounts again.
