I am having issues trying to set up a CalDAV account which I can access over https easily so I know the functionality, username/password are working. I get the following error message:
Can anybody point me in the right direction as to how to fix this?
Hello, not quite sure what is this error referring to, can you please switch to the log tab when the error occurs, copy the content of the log and submit it to us here on forum for more information?
What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? What Calendar (CalDAV) service are you using with eM Client.

Hello Brian, can you please share more details about your account setup, please navigate to Tools > Accounts > Your CalDAV account > CalDAV, make a screenshot of the settings and copy the address you’re using for connecting to your online calendar and submit it both to us here for more information.
I’m afraid your calendar might not be supported for eM client. Or the settings are not correct.
Are you using any security software on your computer, that may be blocking the connection to the calendar server as well?

The URL (was incorrect unfortunately) is to my own Zentyal (Openchange) server; it appears there is a different URL for access via CalDAV and I was incorrectly using the URL for browsers. Now it has been corrected it is:

Hi Brian, can you please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and enable CalDav/CardDav logging, save the settings and replicate the error. When it occurs please restart the application and go back to the advanced settings window to submit the logging data.
