I’m evaluating eMclient whether to purchase or not and now I’m having an issue with calendar entries.
So yesterday I setup my new Exchange account and calendar. Then I imported my old calendar entries from an .ics file. While eMclient created most of them initially just fine, now some of them are recreated every time I launch eMclient.
Operations log says “An error occurred. The method or operation is not implemented” or “An error occurred. Modified occurrence is crossing or overlapping adjacent occurrence”. The log has some MailExceptions.OperationException lines.
I can get the duplicates to go away by doing a deduplication. But these entries still pop up every time I launch eMclient. And some of them are really messed up. Like some yearly holidays are now occurring every month (instead of last Sunday of whatever month).
Hi Lea,
could yoou please copy the whole log here when this error occurs again?
Regards,
Olivia

This is getting really weird. I tried to remove the offending calendar entries by hand and created new recurring entries. And now the new ones are triplicate.
Actually, the errors seem unrelated to the calendar function. I think I have solved the duplicating calendar entry problems but the errors persist.
Still, really crappy to have a dozen error messages pop up every time you open your email.
Hello Lea,
if I understand correctly, the problem seems to be that be that your calendar was synchronizing with the server and then you imported your old calendar separately? The error messages are only about this, because Exchange does not support more events at the same time.
If you still have your calendar backed up, please try turning eM Client to an offline mode(File>Work offline) and removing all the events from eM Client.
Restart eM Client, turn off the Offline mode and see if the issue persists.
If it does, it means the duplicate events were already synchronized on the server, and you either need to remove those duplicates there or, finally, remove all the events even from the server and after its empty and the error messages are gone, load them back from your ics file.

Olivia
I don’t really understand this. The server calendar was empty and then I imported all the calendard entries from an ICS file. I have deleted all duplicates from my calendar manually, I don’t have any duplicates in my eMclient right now, I have also looked at the Exchange calendar via OWA and there does not seem to be any duplicates either.
Your advice sounds like it would mean I will lose all my calendar entries between the backup and now. Not liking that scenario, calendar is business critical for me.
Hi Lea,
yes, it would mean that - are you sure there are no duplicate or overlapping duplicates on the server?

Olivia
