Error with eM Client 6 using Outlook.com calendar, rename failed, AlreadyExists

Hi all,

I am using the latest version of eM Client with Hotmail/Outlook.com account, and get the following error:

An error occurred
[AirSync] Rename of {Username}@hotmail/{FirstName}'s calendar/ failed due to error: AlreadyExists (2).

I have never renamed the calendar anywhere.

Please help.

Hi, what version of eM Client are you using (Help > About), and how often are you receiving this issue?

I am using version: 6.0.19861.0, which I had downloaded just a few days back.

The issue happens on first sync on each restart of eM Client.

I certainly was figuring how to change the color of the calendar, but as far as I can recall, I could not find anywhere in the Preferences. I did switch to the System Theme from the Preferences.

Do you foresee a connection of this problem with the color of the calendar? :slight_smile:

Hi it shouldn’t be connected to the theme changing, but if you ever right clicked a folder of your calendar, selected properties and clicked on a different color for your calendar that would probably be the cause of this issue.
Unfortunately it’s not supported by Outlook.com, we’re working on a fix for this issue.
