[Google Contacts]Creating or updating folder ‘[email protected]/Contacts/Family’ failed due to the following error: Execution of request failed: https://www.google.com/m8/feeds/groups/padraighinwn%40gmail.com/full/e (Cannot update a system group)
You will get that error if you try to rename the Family folder in your Google Contacts because it is a server folder that can’t be renamed. You get a similar error if you try to delete it.
Usually the error will not be displayed after a restart of eM Client.
OK - so I am not aware of deleting it or of changing, but it continues to pop up every time I click on EM Client! Driving me potty… So how do I stop it. Incidentally as an OAP of advancing years most of my contacts are Family - more likely to be addiing to it.
I have another one -
14:00:38 [email protected] [SMTP] MailClient.Storage.Application.ItemOperationException: Cannot send message (Email recipient not accepted by the server.)
This seems to be referring to an email sent to RPS IT including a photo. Problem is the message arrived yet it is still sitting in my outbox!
The first error you gave has nothing to do with email. It has to do with your Contacts. If it does not go away after a restart, remove the Gmail account from eM Client, then add it again.
The second error means that there is an email address you have sent a message to, but the address is not accepted by the server. You will need to delete it from your Outbox, then try again using a different email address.
Hi,
I have a problem with an email address. Once in while my emails can not be sent and I receive this error message:
“SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
550 Sender IP reverse lookup rejected”
Can you help me?
Thank you!
This means that the mail server will not accept your message because your IP address is blacklisted, probably because of spamming abuse. It doesn’t mean you specifically, as your Internet provider may share the same IP address among a number of subscribers.
You will need to discuss this with your Internet provider, who assigns your IP address.
