Hi,
Recently I have been receiving a large number of error messages in both my eMClient and Gmail accounts, which are synced.
The reasons given are :- “reject for policy reason” and “resource name”.
These error messages only allude to any phishing mail that I forward to the relevent authorities.
I hit the “ignore all” button, but they return every time I open eMClient.
Is there a way to delete these “errors” permanently?

That because the SMTP server and receiving mail servers have policy restrictions and won’t allow those emails and then will bounce back to you everytime. You carn’t get around that unless you eg: remove everything in the email to do with Phishing but then you couldn’t report it.
So what you need to do to report those Phishing emails with your Gmail account is the below as per the Google Support Page.
Note: Once you report them online, they will then automatically delete from the Gmail Inbox.

“Avoid and report phishing emails”
1). Go to Gmail via your computer.
2). Open the message.
3). Next to Reply, click More.
4). Click Report phishing

Generally once you report them usually Google soon will then block that person sending the phishing emails so you shouldn’t then get them. Sometimes like reporting Spam to Google you might need to report them a few times till it stops but from my own experience it does work.
You can however in the meantime go to “Menu / Rules” and setup a eg: custom rule to automatically delete the sender via the “email address or subject or body info or header”. You can also block them via their domain if you don’t want any emails from that specific domain.
See eM Client documentation on Rules

Very many thanks cyberzork.
Surprisingly the error messages are no longer appearing and I have received an email from my internet provider tonight, giving me more detailed instructions for dealing with phishing emails.
So it looks as though my “error problems” are about to fade, thanks to you and my provider.
Cheers,
John
