ERROR MESSAGE

This error message keeps popping up and it is driving me crazy!!! I have entered my user name with the domain name added and also without.  Nothing is working.  It pops up every 4 minutes.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

I tried doing what someone had said and sending to log to the support email and I then got another error.

Hello Jamie,
the original window is just an authentication prompt, so sending logs would not really help in this case.
What account does this happen on and what mail protocol does it use? Is it POP/IMAP/Exchange?
As for the new error, does it pop up all the time now or just once when you tried to send the logs?

Regards,
Olivia

This happens on my yahoo account.  I do not know what POP/IMAP/exchange means?  That second error pops up only when I tried sending the log.

Hello Jamie,
POP/IMAP/exchange are mail protocols. Check the Tools>Accounts section and look at your yahoo account asn see if it has a POP or IMAP tab.
If it’s iMAP, try removing and re-adding your account and see if the issue with the credentials window persists.

Regards,
Olivia

Olivia,

I did it and it did not work.

Hi Jamie,
can you try and see if you can login to your yahoo account using Internet Explorer (eM Client v6 uses some IE functions for web content, make sure you test this browser even if it’s not your default).

Regards,
Olivia

Yes I was able to

Since I have logged in, I have not seen the error message!!! Thank you.

Hi Jamie,
glad to hear this solved the issue, maybe authenticating your account for IE solved the issue with eM Client as well.

Regards,
Olivia
