This error message (see jpg) seems to appear when replying to an email. I go to diagnostics which sends me a test message which sends and arrives OK. Have had this problem a while now. I use Gmail but recently been trying the new INBOX by google gmail. I can send ordinary new emails no problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry couldn’t find a way of sending jpg, the error message reads “[SMTP] An attempt to connect to myname failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check settings?.”
I have the same error every time the eM Client refreshes…
Hi, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? What mail service are you using with eM Client?
When the error occurs, can you please switch to the log tab, copy the content of the log and submit the content of the log to us for more information about the issue?

Hi again, thank you for submitting the screenshot regarding the issue to us, however do you think you could copy the content of the log rather than making a screenshot, there’s few missing lines to the error that might be helpful to see, use ctrl+a, ctrl+c to select and copy the content from the log tab.

Thanks for reply, unfortunately I have deleted log inadvertently whilst attempting to delete all but very recent logs. However I have installed the new version and will continue to use and if problem persists I will do as you request and submit full new log. Many thanks.

Hi again, seems like your computer is unable to connect to the server, as the connection is being blocked by a third party application on your computer or a network element in your network, are you using any security software on your computer?
