Error message and Client won't open

Here’s the data Em Client wants me to report: 

System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.   at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
   at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError()
   at System.IO.File.InternalMove(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean checkHost)
   at DbRepair.CorruptionChecker.CheckCorruption(RepairOptions repairOptions, CancellationToken token)
   at DbRepair.CheckingProcess.Check(CancellationToken token)
Data:
databaseFile: settings.dat

That’s all Greek tome.  How do I get Em Client to work again?

Hi Bob,

It seems that another program is accessing your database so eM Client can’t open it. Usually, this is caused by antivirus program so please try shutting it off and restart eM Client to see if it helps.
