Error in settings: The open file operation failed

When attempting to import a themes file, or change a notification sound, or do anything that tries to open the file open dialog from within settings, I get the following error message:

MacOS Ventura
Reinstalling does not seem to resolve the problem.

Any help would be appreciated!

This is a known issue with the Ventura beta OS.

You can go back to Monterey, or wait for our 9.2 release later this year that has a fix for this.

This issue should be fixed for MacOS Ventura in eM Client v9.2 that was just released:

The issue seems to have resurfaced in macOS Ventura 13.7.1 (released October 28, 2024). Just installed macOS from scratch on Intel Macintosh and installed latest em Client version 9.2.2307 (c0b94dc). Now I’m unable to restore my backup because of error below
