Hi, I’ve moved from one laptop to another, reinstalled (not via back up - didn’t know about that then) em client on my new laptop and works fine apart from my quicktext isn’t there. I’ve downloaded the phone app and they appear there. I went onto my old laptop and exported the quicktext but when I’ve imported them I get 6 errors like this: “1001:12 - Element ‘http://licensing.emclient.com/XSD/accounts:SettingsEnabled’ cannot appear more than once if content model type is “all”.”. I’ve deactivated my old computer (although after I exported the quicktext, if that’s relevant). I’ve dozens so it’d be a pain to retype - any ideas for help? And if not is there a way of getting help that isn’t this forum? I couldn’t find it with google.
Thanks,
Sarah
Same here under Windows 11 em Client 10.1.4588

If you haven’t been making regular eM Client backups “but you still have access to your old Hard-disk”, then you can restore all your complete data “via the user hidden database folder”.
To do that “go to your old hard-disk” and “copy the below eM Client complete hidden folder contents”.
(Hidden database folder Windows)
C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client
(Hidden database folder Mac)
/Users/User Name/Library/Application Support/eM Client
Then “install the same version of eM Client” on your new computer. Then open eM Client and “skip the setup” and then close eM Client.
Next go to your “current hidden database folder location” on your new computer and “delete the folder contents”.
Then paste your old hard-disk same hidden folder contents into the new computer eM Client hidden folder.
Then reopen eM Client and it will be the same.
