I’m trying to repare my eM Client app on my windows 11 X64 but the procedures crashes at some point, failing to install - se image
Apparently, there’s nothing wrong with the app itself, but I’m having some sort of issue signing my emails with my digital certificate.
Is it a problem on my side or a default of the downloaded file (which I have downloaded severly times between yesterday and today).

This is an issue with your Windows Installer Service. It may be caused by some utility you have that “cleans” your OS and has deleted the Windows Installer Service cached files.
You can try the following and see if it helps:
- Close and uninstall eM Client, making sure NOT to delete the database folder when asked. That will ensure all your data and settings are there later.
- If it exists, delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client folder.
- Download and install the latest version from here: https://www.emclient.com/dist/latest/setup.msi
- Restart eM Client.
Apart from what Gary already advised, if it still won’t install / reinstall, you could also try the MS Windows troubleshooting tool in the link below. Ive used it for Windows 11 64bit even though Microsoft only state up to Windows 10. If you do try the below Microsoft tool, reboot your pc after running it.
