I receive hot mail OK, but I can’t send anything.

This is really most likely server sided issue, but for us to be sure can you send me SMTP logs?

Tools - Settings - Advanced, check STMP under your account, apply and restart eM Client.

Then simulate steps which leads to your issue and after send logs… to together with this topic’s URL.
