Error Code 2503 when trying to install emclient

I am a new user trying to install emclient free version.  The download seemt to work OK but when I try and install it I get an “Error Code 2503”
I cannot find what this means.  Can anyone help me please??  RRH

Thank you for your interest. Can you install other .msi files? In any case, this is a Windows issue. If you contact the Windows support, they should be able to help you.

Thanks Maurice for your help.  
To answer part of you comments I have no trouble at all installing any other .msi files at all.
I will try and follow it up as a Windows fault - thanks for your help.  Richard.
