Accepted e-transfers received by my iPhone 8 and android tablet running the latest em client always have a line added to the top of the subject title bearing an incorrect name. PC installations do not show this fault.
I am just a simple user and find it annoying having this incorrect extra line.
Fixing this would be appreciated.

You can adjust the Android and iOS mobile app to display the min Sender Name and Subject line if you disable the default 1 line option as in the below 1st example Droid Inbox screenshot.
The default 1 line Subject view will show the Sender, Subject line and Any text typed in the top of the email body as in the below example.
So you can adjust the Subject line settings on the mobile apps via “Menu / Settings / Read / Message Preview” as per the below Droid example screenshots below.
