English is second language for most people - Automatic language switch for spell check

Or a company which would care, could implement that in their software… In a few days we are in 2024 and you tell users to need to fumble around to make (bad) workarounds to achieve relatively basic functions? But I see, the company does not care and users can ask for 10 years without being really understood.

I proved the Eleagua method and it works properly so for now on it`s a solution until you improve automatic detection of laguage.

I am new to eM looking for a real alternative to drop Outlook on my Mac. There are so many things I love about this client, specifically that it offers a wide range of features across all platforms. What baffles me, however, is that I can find posts going back to 2013 asking for this feature and yet we still have posts on it. I use 3+ languages in my emails every day and I want my client to automatically detect the language which is something that a simple LanguageID mechanism does easily (anyone doing NLP can tell you we have done this of > 10 years). It is really the only thing keeping me from switching for good. I just don’t get why this is such an issue. The demand is there, the solution is there, it’s not rocket science to do… What is stopping you guys?

Exactly, I wonder how companies can survive being so ignorant. Salesforce is another such company where basic features have been requested for 13 years and longer (such as not limiting a report field to 256 chars – so very demanding stuff to change for a programmer  )

Is the language auto-detect finally available in the new version 10? I did not find that mentioned and stay on my Pro 8 otherwise.
