emclient will not work with sympatico (Bell) & Win 11

  • New install, unable to send emails using eM Client on computer, Windows 11. Receive emails intermittently. (email = @ns.sympatico.ca)

  • Installed eM Client on another Windows 11 computer, still unable to send emails with @ns.sympatico.ca, Receive emails intermittently.

  • Configuration/settings checked against old computer and also verified with Bell support.

  • Installed eM Client on another computer with Windows 10, eM Client sends & receives mail well with customers email.

  • Spoke with Bell support again, they state “eM Client does not work with Bell on Windows 11”

- Also, Bell advised that Thunderbird “DID” work with Bell and Windows 11.

  • I installed Thunderbird on a Windows 11 computer and the email did work fine. Sends & receives well.

The errors and log from the Menu > Operations window could help determine what the issue might be. If the account allows use of IMAP/SMTP there shouldn’t be any reason why it couldn’t work with eM Client, unless the mail provider specifically blocks it.

Just to clarify, eMClient works perfectly with this account on windows 10. (IMAP & SMTP)
eMClient does NOT work with this account on Windows 11. (IMAP & SMTP)
All settings are identical. Checked operation on two different computers.
Thunderbird DOES work with this account on Windows 11. (Same Settings)

Tried (Windows 11) disabling firewall and security, still not working.
