emClient v10 won't sync with Outlook calendar

For several weeks, my emClient has not updated events in my synced Outlook calendar (emClient 10.1.4828, macOS Monterey). I have tried repairing the calendar and also deleting and reinstalling the calendar account; neither have worked.

I had the same issue back in August 2024 when I had to revert to emClient version 9 to solve the problem.

Towards the end of 2024 I decided to give emClient v10 another trial but have, again, had to revert to version 9 to get the sync working.

I’d be grateful for any thoughts the emClient team might have on the issue.

If you have never got V10 to work with the Calendar, then could possibly be eg: OS related where something might be needed in the OS for the latest V10.1.4828 that is not in Monterey.

eM Client does support the last 3 OS’s in each major version, which then for V10, would be Ventura, Sonoma or Sequoia. So that might be the reason.

Are you able to upgrade your Mac OS to test ?

If you carn’t upgrade due to hardware constraints, try closing eM Client V9, and then go to the following eM Client hidden database folder and rename it to eg: eM Client-Old.

“Users\yourusername\Library\Application Support\eM Client”

Then reopen eM Client which will create a new database and setup as new in V9 and make sure your calendar is synching ok.

Then “close eM Client” and download V10.1.4828 again from the release history page and install. Then reopen eM Client and see if the Calendar then syncs ok after the upgrade.

If creating a new database still fails to sync the calendar in V10, click the drop-down on the right of Refresh and click Show Operations and click the Log tab and look for any obvious error messages and paste them in this thread. Blank out anything personal. We might then be able to see why it won’t sync.
