emClient stuck - regulary around 9.30 to 11.00

MacBook Pro, up-to-date, provided by my employer. A few days after I installed emClient on the machine, I noticed that emClient gets stuck regularly before noon, between 9.30 to 11.00. My collegue’s idea was, that it might be a background process. Thus I turned off the backup database function. Really weird. Did this occur to anybody else? When does emClient check for updates? I guess this is a background process, too? With stuck I mean, I have to use Apple’s “force-close” function; nothing else helps.

What Mac OS version is this ?

Also what version of eM Client are you using?

Also is there any optionally installed firewall / security programs or optionally installed antivirus programs or vpns ?

macOS Version 15.5 (24F74)
em Client either 10.3.1720.0 or 10.3.2024.0 - I updated today (before I noted your message) to 10.3.2412 (260ec1e)
We are using Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac.
Nothing additionally, no VPN.

Try “completely disabling bit defender” and see if it makes any difference to rule that out incase of interference.
