if you add a received using parameter a suffix of (IMAP) is added so the rule fails because it doesn’t agree with the incoming email from address.
i am on v.10.4.4756

Hey @blanc_sanglier
As far as I am aware you can not specify IMAP
(Internet Message Access Protocol) as a suffix.

I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED THAT NOBODY AT EMCLIENT HAS TAKEN THIS PROBLEM SERIOUSLY.
Perhaps i didn’t make my explanation clear enough so here goes…
I have have set up Rules using the ‘and received using’ parameter - see example 1 in attached screenshot.
The software (not me) IS ADDING the (IMAP) suffix to the email address in the rule so the rule fails to move the email to the selected folder because it doesn’t match the from email address - see example email received 2.
Previous versions of eMClient didn’t add the suffix so older rules work as expected
I need a fix so that rules behave correctly.

Hey @blanc_sanglier
First you should be aware that this Forum is supported by eMC users and if
you want a reply direct from eMC you should raise a ticket with support.
IN your example (IMAP) is not the suffix - .com is the suffix where
IMAP is the type of mail account
On the second line of your rule ‘from people’ unless you selected a npn
default option there should be a full email address
I guess you have selected an alternative option that is incorrect, the
format it needs to be:
‘@crm.ba.com’ for Domain OR ‘*crm.ba.com’ for Ends with
I hope my guess is correct.
