Is there a maximum capacity of emails held within emClient. I have 3,000 plus emails and occasionally get a message indicating problem with capacity (cannot remember exact message though, it does not happen all of the time). I use gmail.

can you please make a screenshot of the error next time it happens or post the error message here on the forum?
There is no limitation that would allow you to only have a specific number of emails nor any capacity limitations, so this should be no issue.
You’re only limited by your hard drive and the server’s available space.
