Newly updated EMClient 11 crashes when trying to save images embedded in email. I cannot save pictures embedded in an email sent from a mobile phone to my EMClient PC app. If the images appear as attachments (not embedded and displayed in the email) it seems okay.
Not sure what is going on there?
Hi, sorry for the late reply, and thanks for reporting this.
To pass it to our developers we need a few details:
Your eM Client version (Menu > Help > About) and Windows or Mac version.
Does it happen with every message that has embedded pictures, or only with some (for example only mails sent from a phone)?
How exactly do you save the picture (right-click > Save as, drag and drop, other)?
If an error window appears, click Show error. Please don’t paste the report here: send it to us with the logs below.
To send us logs privately (please don’t post them here):
Go to Menu > Settings > Advanced > Logging, click Clear Logs and tick Global modules > Database.
Restart eM Client and repeat the problem. Note the time.
Click the Send Logs… button in the same section and mention the link to this forum topic in your message.
Untick the modules again afterwards.
