The software seems to be reaching out to websites on it’s own.
Norton alerted me to this, I have seen this happen before to other URL’s.
I’ve scanned the folder where emclient is installed with Norton & Malwarebytes. Nothing was detected.
Hi, the app might connect to external websites to download contact avatars, if that option is enabled, and we’ve implemented safeguards to ensure that only valid avatar images are accessed. You can disable this under Menu > Settings > Contacts > Download avatars from external sources if you prefer. This is the only external connection eM Client makes outside of accessing your added accounts.
