I have a regular Yahoo mail/calendar account. It appears to work OK with eMclient. However, if I watch the “Operations” panel in eMclient, it is CONSTANTLY (non-stop) doing an upload to Yahoo Calendar (CalDAV). A couple times a second. The log says:
I have a Yahoo calendar in sync, and it pops up “upload failed” quite often, I did enabled CalDAV diagnostic and in log I see the syncs are done multiple times per minute.
Is it possible limit syncs to some more relaxed timing? I change things in my calendar every few days, not seconds. I even dare to say it is ok (for me) to sync only at client opening, as changes are done only when I do them in the calendar tab.
It also affects contacts and IMAP message folders other than the Inbox. (The Inbox syncs in real-time by the server pushing new messages to you and there is no setting to change that).
The setting doesn’t apply if you change or add items to the calendar, and they will upload immediately when you save them. A folder will also sync when you click on it regardless of the schedule.
Thank you!
The strange thing is the calendar being sync multiple times in a minute, even if I have that setting set to 10 minutes, and I am not using emclient at the time (it is open but minimized as I am doing other things), can this be avoided?
I also have mine set for the default 10 minutes, and yet it was syncing the calendar constantly (multiple times per second).
I seem to have stopped the nonstop syncing by deleting my Yahoo account entirely out of eMclient and re-adding it… will be keeping an eye on it to see if it starts doing the constant syncing again.
