I tried to add an account from Icewarp to the Emclient Android application via the Exchange function, unfortunately it didn’t work and I don’t know why. As for connecting to the same account via IMAP, everything is ok, but then I have to manually connect contacts and calendar. Is it possible to connect it via the Exchange function so that everything is connected as a whole?
Why you don’t just use an automatic account set up. It should work with IW with no problems (if IW server is correctly configured for using auto discovery). IW is not Exchange server and should not be set up as Exchange server. IW uses IMAP and CalDAV.
Thanks for reaction, but IW normaly working with activesync for gmail and etc.. , but for emclient for androind it didnt connect. If i use automatical connection with exchange it wants confirmaction from microsft. Its no easy Explain workers to connect first Imap and than connect extra contacts manualy that are very important for then and next manualy connect callendar is not comfortible.
any other ideas?
eM Client does not use ActiveSync for many reasons. What happens if you just fill in email and password when setting up and account? Again don’t select manual setup and Exchange.
