emClient 10.1 MS Teams chat problem

After updating from 10.0 to 10.1 my MS Teams chat does not react anymore. A red triangle is shown besides the account name. The contents of the log file for this account are:

Before the update, the chat worked as usual, it has not worked after the update.

It seems there is a wrong version of one binary responsible for MS Teams. Isn’t it possible that during the installation process you were asked to restart the computer? I would try to do just that (some files cannot be overwritten without the restart). If that does not help, just uninstall the current version (your data shoud stay intact) and install it again (basically fix the installation).

I do not recall seeing that prompt, but I will try it.

That was funny. After reboot the browser reopened right here with the saved draft. (Also Word with a blank document, although it has been at least a year since I last had Word open on this box.) emClient still complained about the missing file, though. Since it was the first reboot after the update triggered from within emClient, I doubt that even if there was a prompt to reboot it would have helped.

After uninstalling (keeping data) and reinstalling, however, the chat works again.

Thanks for the quick help,
s.
