When I open eMClient 7, it repeatedly (about once a day) asks me, to get permission to access my gmail account. I gave it, today, yesterday, a day before y., etc… It annoys me pretty much, it have not done this kind of crap before. I go through the process (email adress, next, password, next, allow, get tons of email about acess from google, delete that) and next day again…
What version of eM Client are you using.
You can try uninstalling, then download and install 7.2.35595 from the Release History.
I am also getting this same problem in eM Client version 6.0.24985.0, for about the last 3 days, starting Friday 10/4/2019.
I know version 6 is an old version of eM Client, but I greatly prefer the user interface to version 6, and I have a paid license to version 6, which I would have to pay again to upgrade if I wanted version 7 (which I don’t, really).
Does upgrading to the latest build of version 7 solve this problem? If so, can the fix be back-ported to version 6?
David, as a Pro License user it might be better for you to open a support ticket directly with eM Client. I am sure they will be able to offer you some assistance, but I doubt they are still maintaining a version that is over 3 years old. But then you never know unless you ask them.
