I apply two tags to some incoming mail before I archive them. The first tag is “Active” and the second is something like “Project A”.
In the mobile apps (both iPadOS and Android) I can
- create a Search Folder that searches for “Active”
- sort by Tag and then by Received, and
- get a list of the relevant emails listed in groups under “project A”, “Project B”, etc
I cannot see a way to do this in the Windows desktop application because there appears to be no option to sort by tag.
Is there another way of achieving this in the desktop application?
I use this a lot. I presume I am not the only person who does this. I cannot believe that this function is missing in the desktop app, so I presume I have not yet found the method of doing it 
Can someone please explain.
