Emails with GMail Forums category not show in All Inboxes

I have three (GMail) email accounts that are displayed in “All Inboxes”. I have noticed that any emails with the “Forums” category do not appear when “All Inboxes” are displayed, but if I click on the account (either under “All Inboxes” or in its separate account entry) all the messages display. “Personal”, “Updates”, and even “No category” emails are displayed in “All Inboxes”, but no Forums emails appear. I have confirmed that GMail is attaching the “Inbox” label to the messages so I thought that they should appear. Other categories may also be impacted, but I haven’t confirmed that.

Does anyone have suggestions as to how to fix this? Is this a misconfiguration on my end or ajn issue with Em Client?

I’m not sure what changed on my end, but after I posted, the next morning the Forums category started appearing (again?). As I am a new poster, I couldn’t reply until today.

Before my original post, I went through the app configurations and scoured the support forum for possible solutions. Tried a few things including turning on and off the download all messages and restarting the client a number of times.

Nothing made an immediate difference, but it is working now. I will continue to monitor and see if the problem appears again.

I read a post about configuring categories and showed a series of tabs that displayed below the row that has the Select and Filter buttons. I couldn’t find where to turn that on and off, but it’s not shown at the moment. I need to go back through the settings again to look for it.
