Emails to one account are being duplicated into another

We’ve got several email accounts linked to Em Client, including two gmail accounts. The emails received in account #1 are being duplicated into account #2. I can’t find any permissions that allow that. I checked with the way that the two gmail accounts are set up and neither of them provide for forwarding. It must be something about the way that the accounts are configured in Em Client, but I can’t discover why.

It can happen when you setup account #2, you enter the credentials for account #1 in the web browser part of the setup. Then the new “account #2” you see in eM Client will actually connect to the mailbox for account #1

Your best option is to remove the account that is showing the incorrect messages, and add it back again, making sure in the web page that opens, you enter the credentials for the correct account.
