None of my emails are going. They are stuck in my Outbox and I get an error message in the Operations window saying
’ An error occurred.
Cannot send message (Email Address not accepted by the server)’.
The addresses I am sending to are legitimate and I have used them before. This problem started after I sent a message to a Distribution list I created. Most of the list received OK but I received an undeliverable email referring to 5.5.4 Invalid address for some of the intended recipients.
Can anyone help?
Hello Andrew,
We’re sorry you’re experiencing this issue. The outbox is currently stuck at trying to send to the addresses that it doesn’t find legitimate over and over, which is why it doesn’t send anything else. As a temporary solution, we would recommend going to Outbox and double clicking on the message, which will open a window from which you can edit the e-mail and its recipients. Change/delete the addresses that are not accepted by the server so the e-mail disappears from Outbox and the program can proceed with sending other messages.
Could you then please try sending e-mails to the addresses that weren’t accepted to verify what is the situation?
Thank you,
Maurice
_ _Hi Maurice,
I did a bit of detective work and discovered that addresses imported from Livemail or Google had inverted commas inserted around the address and it was this that was causing the problem. So far, removing the inverted commas has solved the problem.

Andrew
