Happens when there is an attachment.
I am using a Gmail account.
Its just started happening after working fine for a couple of years.

Could be the size of the attachments.
If they are coming close to around 25MB you can have problems sending as that’s the max limit for Google SMTP servers unless you use eM Client Cloud attachments.
Now if the attachments are well under 25MB, then I would probably suggest to remove and readd your Gmail account via the automatic account wizard in “Menu / Accounts” and see if that fixes it. As could just be a local account problem.
If you do remove and readd your account, “make a manual backup first” via “Menu / Backup” (Pc) or “File / Backup” (Mac) incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh.
