I’m having trouble with the search function in the Android EmClient app.
I already selected the option to download all messages, and from within the Search tab I also specifically clicked “Download all messages now.” However, most of my emails still don’t appear to be downloaded.
As a result, search only works for very recent emails (roughly the last couple of weeks), even though my Gmail account actually contains thousands of messages. Older emails simply don’t show up in search results, which is a problem. See screenshot for reference.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to force Gmail (or any provider) on Android to fully download/index all messages so search works properly for older emails too? I have already asked to use “server search when available”.
