Emails missing in emClient V10.0.3447 (Win)

Exchange 365 account

Outlook website: all emails there
emClient: various emails missing

“refresh” doesn’t solve the issue
category tabs considered - doesn’t matter whether i look at “all” or “primary” or whatever
can’t determine what the cause is - happens quite sporadically.

Did you try turning Categories feature off?
Settings > Mail > Categories then untick Show categories
Then click Apply or Save & Close
See if that resolves the issue.

Thank you. This worked for me. Makes no sense to me why they have this feature turned on by default, but I turned off categories. I also changed the check marked from “Show recent messages” to “unread messages”. Somewhere else I turned off the red numbering nonsense.

Thank you for your reply but I turned it off immediately after installation.

Issue now appeared also on a second Exchange account.

I deleted both accounts and set them up again. Missing emails appear.

Closing emClient.
Opening emClient.
Several emails (now different ones) do not appear in the list.

Again: No filters,categories turned off. Affected emails visible in Outlook Web or Outlook client.

For me, this looks like a database or filter issue.
