emails marked by date rather than name of week-day

I would prefer in the list of mails not to see them as (e.g.) Tue 18:17. but as 23-12-25 18:17. Is there an option to change that appearance?

Go to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Read” and check the box marked “Show Date” under Message list down near the bottom as in the example screenshot below.
